We the People National FinalsCongratulations to the students and teachers from St. Joseph-Ogden and Maine South high schools who represented Illinois at the 30th annual national high school hearings for the We the People program in Washington, D.C. from April 20-24, 2017. Congratulations to Maine South for earning 10th place nationally!
Leadership Update
The Illinois Center for Civic Education (ICCE) announces the departure of ICCE Executive Director Jennifer Blackman, effective April 20, 2017.
The entire organization thanks Jennifer for her service and wishes her well in future endeavors. The ICCE Executive Board will announce further information on transition details shortly.
