Institutes We continue to appreciate your overwhelming support for the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution summer institutes and National Academy. A complete list of We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution institutes is available at our website at www.civiced.org. In addition to providing you with a small supply of applications, the Center will undertake the following steps to ensure their distribution: • Applications are available at the Center’s website, www.civiced.org. • Teachers who have received We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution textbooks within the past three years will receive an institute application. • Teachers from select geographic areas will receive institute applications. The number of applicants from within a state is unlimited. We encourage each district coordinator to solicit at least one applicant from his or her congressional district. If you need additional applications or have questions concerning the institutes, please contact me at the Center.
